🧰 Tools & Materials You’ll Need:
If working outside with no lift:
• Jack and jack stands
• Lug wrench(if needed)
• Socket set
• Hammer or mallet
• Ball joint separator or stud removal tool (optional but helpful, also depending in your Vehicle)
• Replacement wheel studs
• Penetrating oil (like PB Blaster)
• Brake cleaner
• Torque wrench
• Pry bar (if needed)
• C-clamp or brake caliper tool

🛠️ Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Safety First
• Park the vehicle on a level surface and engage the parking brake.
• Wear safety goggles and gloves.
2. Lift the Vehicle
• Use a jack to lift the vehicle and secure it with jack stands.
• Remove the wheel using a lug wrench or impact with proper socket
3. Remove the Brake Caliper & Rotor
• Unbolt the brake caliper and hang it with a bungee or wire (don’t let it dangle by the brake line).
• Remove the brake rotor to expose the wheel hub.
4. Inspect the Damaged Stud
• Locate the broken or damaged stud that needs to be removed.
• Use penetrating oil on the base of the stud for easier removal.
5. Hammer Out the Old Stud
• Rotate the hub until you find a clear spot behind the stud.
• Use a hammer to drive the damaged stud out through the back of the hub.
• Be careful not to damage the hub or surrounding components.
6. Install the New Stud
• Slide the new stud through the hole in the hub from the back.
• Place a few washers or a lug nut backwards on the new stud.
• Tighten the nut to pull the stud into place (or use a stud installer tool).
• Ensure the stud is fully seated flush against the back of the hub.
7. Reassemble Everything
• Reinstall the brake rotor and caliper.
• Mount the wheel back on.
• Torque the lug nuts to manufacturer spec using a torque wrench.
8. Lower the Vehicle
• Lower the vehicle off the jack stands and double-check torque.
