Today on this 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe, were using tube steps part number 22-5050 and Installation Kit 22-1815.Were gonna start by laying all the parts because the brackets have a front and rear to them. So, front bracket, a tube step and our rear bracket. Next we need to do in the vehicle. Right next to the rear wheel, theres a rubber plug, well just pop it out of the way. Were working on the passenger side of the vehicle. Now, on the frame rail theres an oval plug that we have to remove as well.

Well go ahead and place our bracket and show how it mounts up just like that. Now were gonna install our hardware.How were gonna get this installed is with this bolt, this treaded block which well tread together and this plastic washer. That keeps everything from falling to the inside. So well tread this together and slide on our plastic washer, put it in the frame and sit the washer back as hard as possible. Itll hold it for us.

Do the same thing for the oval hole in the frame. When we install this, twist it so it doesnt fall back through.Now well install our bracket with the tread washer, black washer and nut. Well just snug them down finger tight for now and were go into the front bracket and basically repeat the same process.Thisll be the locations for our front bracket. Well do one quick test fit to see how it sits up there then well go ahead and install the hardware.Now were gonna take a tube step and install on our bracket. Im gonna install these brackets to the inside, one on each end and theyll fit in the frame bracket like this.

On the bottom well install a flat washer and lock nut.Now, leave all our hardware loose, well position the tube where we want it before we tighten it down.Once you have that accomplished, well go ahead and tighten down the frame brackets to the frame.Alright, with that, that will finish the install on the passenger side, now well repeat the same process on our driver side. Alright, with that, that will finish our install of part number 22-5050 and Installation Kit 22-1815.
