I recently found out that I had a bicornuate uterus or a uterus that is in the shape of a heart! A bicornuate uterus shaped irregularly and is described as a uterine malformation. After finding out that I had one I did some research to better understand what I was dealing with. For me, very painful periods were my only indicator of this malformation.
