2023 DIY Southwest Colorado Elk hunt

Elk Hunting Southwest Colorado third rifle season DIY with over the counter tags on public land. The elk have been hunted for basically two month by this season so they are on their guard and in their hide outs.

Week long Elk Hunt in the South San Juan Wilderness of Colorado. We got some timely snow that put the elk on the move and we came home. One bull played cat and mouse with us for 6 days.
