Cream: Ariana and Evans: Face Spackle 'Barbershop' - $12.95
Balm: Gingers Garden 'Sauvage Type' Balm - $4

Soap Ingredients:

stearic, aqua, Manteca, shea, potassium hydroxide, castor oil, coconut oil, avocado oil, sodium hydroxide, lanolin and goats milk.

Scent Notes:

Carnation is forward and the scent mellows to a more classic and powdery barbershop fragrance.

This is a somewhat unusual video from me. If you've been watching my channel for any amount of time, you'll have noticed that I don't use many products that you could consider budget-friendly or value. This isn't because I think these products aren't good, in fact - they're all very good for what you're paying. It's more to do with the overall experience I'm looking for.

Although I don't use them too often, I think the high-value brands have a very important role in our industry. They are the point of entry for beginners and because of that, it's important they receive a certain amount of support from all of the seasoned shavers too. I'm of the opinion that without those, the shaving industry won't move forward as the point of entry would be at too high of a cost for beginners, thus fewer people willing to give it a go.

The gear I'm using in this video as far as I'm concerned is budget. The DE89 is the most expensive item and is often recommended to beginners, so I would consider it budget. The cream is incredibly 'high-value'. The performance is that of a higher-end soap - with a much lower price tag.
