Boy!, Penns Creek really gave me a workout. Besides the typical tough wading, the fish were playing hide and seek. I finally found them, in the fast fast shallow riffs. Also had to change my flies often until I found the winning combination. And how 'bout that black Clouser minnow!? Using streamers more and more, helped me catch a big boy brownie today. The water was still nice and cold, a little extra water goes a long way on Penns.
