Our Super Dwarf Lives in a Tree

Описание к видео Our Super Dwarf Lives in a Tree

Our baby Super Dwarf Reticulated Python from ‪@ReachOutReptiles‬ has decided he prefers to stay in one of the synthetic snake trees we use for exercise and enrichment instead of returning to his baby enclosure. Ryder was hatched on September 13, 2021 and I can already see that finding him just the right adult enclosure is going to be challenging in the sense that he has specific preferences that we will have to try and accommodate or he won't want to stay in his enclosure. He is very content in the tree so we will have to find something large enough for us to put this or a similar tree in for him. Just like TC, Ryder is a great family pet so far. He is very personable, friendly as snakes go, easy to manage and will eat anything. He is a decent learner, doing well with his target training. Ryder is fortunate that I work from home and that someone is always here so he can be free as much as possible. TC was hatched on 6/6/2019, he is 3 years old in this video, 4.5 feet long and 620 grams.

I narrated the whole video so it is self-explanatory with Ryder living in the activity tree for the past couple of weeks and TC in shed.
