The Aussie Fisherman Greg shows how to prepare your boat for catching mudcrabs.

Put a tub with holes in it.To let the water drain out. Once you have caught the crab,check it and make sure it is full mudcrab. Some states let you take female mudcrab. In Queensland, we are not allowed to take female mudcrabs.Put them in the tub and cover them with a hessen bag. Then throw a bucket of water over them. To keep them alive and cool. The hot northqueensland weather can kill mudcrabs if you don't look after them.

I like to cut my crab ties before I go and cut them about 1.2 m. long just makes it easy to tie the crab.
