This week is "Blended" by Sharon M. Draper. It is about an eleven-year-old girl named Isabella and her blended family. This is a wonderful and thoughtful story about divorce, diversity, racial inequality, financial status and personal identity. The struggles of Isabella are those myself and others can relate to. This book does a superb job of portraying the challenges and benefits of a truly blended family. This entire book is more appropriate for ages 4th grade and up however, I recommend it to anyone who is interested ♥️
