D. Wynne Thorne Lecture with Dr Rose Hu: RESEARCH WEEK 2024

Named after the first vice president for research at Utah State University, the D. Wynne Thorne Career Research Award is given annually to an individual who has completed outstanding research in their career. They are then invited to speak at a lecture event during Research Week.

This year, we’re pleased to hear from Dr. Rose Qingyang Hu..

Dr. Hu is the Associate Dean for Research and a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, where she directs the Communications Network Innovation Lab. She is also a Fellow of the prestigious Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. Her research is focused on 4G/5G wireless networks, for which she is internationally recognized. Dr. Hu has published six books, four book chapters, over 300 papers, and currently holds twenty-nine patents.

This lecture kicked off the beginning of Research Week 2024, a celebration of Research from December 2-6.
