Others can still be used as long as they can be pulled over the head, have no fastenings other than fabric or bias ties (no ribbons – don’t stay tied), and include pockets

Last year’s dress was the A-line dress by Thoughtful Creativity (   • Do some good with your SEWING POWER! ...  ) and is still a great pattern to use. She is also making another version with inseam pockets for quicker sewing. I’ll share those details when I get them.

Tshirt dresses with a woven fabric bottom or ruffle are okay

This year we are asking everyone to add labels to their dresses.

Three Little Birds Sewing Co in the Washington DC area has graciously donated the sewing space for the in person sewathon this year on September 17 and will offer a discount for those who would like to purchase fabrics.
