The Wild Unknown Alchemy Deck by Kim Krans and @the_wild_unknown is the fourth deck in the Wild Unknown collection.

The deck is made up of 71 cards, divided into The 11 Cosmic Forces, The 4 Colors, The 4 Seasons, The 22 Materials, The 22 Mysteries, and The 8 Operations. The cards are hexagon shaped and measure just under 4.5" from flat edge to flat edge and 5" from corner to corner. The cardstock is light and shuffles easily.

As with the Archetype Deck, the 224-page guidebook is fully illustrated in black and white. It contains an introduction to Alchemy, Alchemical Practices, Types of Alchemists, sections on understanding and using the deck, including a selection of spreads, followed by detailed information on each of the cards. I love that each card description includes keywords, an in-depth write up and key phrases for "go deeper," and "to ponder."

The aesthetic of all of the Wild Unknown decks is stunning, and this deck fits beautifully with the rest of the collection.

Kim Krans has published a series of Wild Unknown decks. In addition to the Alchemy the series also includes the Wild Unknown Tarot, Animal Spirit and Archetype decks.
