Introduction:
Live the Word of God in Hope! video series is to help all people reflect on the Sunday Gospel readings, during the Church’s liturgical year (YEAR A) with hearts filled with hope for a better world, especially for a better Africa that is currently facing challenges such as wars, poverty, human trafficking, corruption, bad governance, unemployment, drug addiction, alcoholism, insecurity, child abuse, and the likes.
Pope Francis in the Motu Proprio “Aperuit Illis” on the Sunday of the Word of God invites the Church to enable every member of Christ’s body experience anew a decisive relationship with the living Word which is Christ Himself.
Apart from our scriptural reflection we shall also pray for the needs of one particular African country every week. We believe all things are possible in Christ our Savior and we live in hope that there is a better tomorrow.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11)
