Drafted with pick 48 in the 2012 AFL National Draft, It didn't take long for Dean Kent to break into the senior team and make an impression on his fans, coaches and teammates.

Boasting elite speed, power, aggression and a lethal left boot, Kent quickly made an impression as a half forward for the Demons, playing 15 games in his debut season.

While he only playing 13 games in 2014 as a result of injury, Kent's back half of the season was particularly strong. This included a key role in the thrilling Round 13 victory against Essendon, where he gathered 18 disposals and kicked two incredible second half goals.

On the verge of a breakout season with the Demons in 2015, Kent tragically tore his hamstring early in the season which left him on the sidelines for most of the year. Following surgery on his troublesome hamstring, Kent returned to complete a full pre-season.

What followed was a breakout 2016 season for Dean Kent, where he played 20 games, kicked 25 goals and cemented an important role as a half forward he can occasionally apply his pace and left foot in the midfield.

During the 2016 season, Kent signed on with the Demons until the conclusion of the 2018 season, shaping as an important and lively player for the Demons as they continue their climb up the ladder.
