Hi Everyone! This is the first of a 2-part series where I will walk through creating a vessel using fabric, plaster wrap, burlap and cheesecloth. Once dried, I apply encaustic and show you a few tips and tricks on how to create texture and dimension.

Items used:
previously stained fabric and papers
plaster wrap
coffee water
burlap
cheesecloth
Winsor and Newton oil paint- mixing white, raw umber, cobalt blue
R&F ancient gold encaustic
