This week we have a rule that creates a procedural manhole. Now I know that doesn't sound super exciting, but it is. It's a great example of how you can push Computer Generated Architecture (CGA) to create very realistic procedurally generated objects for just about any environment. The manhole is attached to its shaft, and you can control the width, depth, length of transition, offset, rung spacing, rung width, etc. all with the rule. You can even cut away the side to see into the structure from the outside.
