Dancing Droplets Sock Pattern By Stephen West
Explorer Knits and Fibres sock set in Great Barrier Reef NP

Pattern mods:
I omitted the contrast heel and completed the heel in the MC yarn as I was concerned about having enough yarn for the second sock
I replaced the garter st heel style with a standard slip st heel flap and gusset as the original design ended up way too big for my foot.
I made the ankle section shorter than the pattern photo to be a bit more of a sporty style
I removed the “droplet” element from the foot part of the sock as it adds quite a bit of thickness and texture and I was worried it would affect comfort when worn with shoes

Pattern Mods:
I extended the sleeve length and cuff length
Followed the sizing for 5cm/2” positive ease instead of the recommended pattern ease
Calculated sleeve size based off gauge to match upper arm circumference
