And when we're talking about our key messages on becoming more sustainable and giving customers more choice of how they want to shop, she's got that great reach. I mean, I think it's just short of like 200 million followers just on Instagram, but I don't know all the channels. But, you know, that's a great platform and working with has been an absolute delight."

"Well, I think that's a little bit of a misconception that people actually throw all of their fast fashion away. I  mean, it's been labeled with a bit of a dirty tag. But that's, you know, the new generation that are coming through want to make more sustainable choices but it has to be affordable."

KOURTNEY KARDASHIAN TACKLING FAST FASHION AS 'SUSTAINABILITY AMBASSADOR' FOR BOOHOO BRAND
Kourtney Kardashian showed up to watch the New York Fashion Week runway presentation of BooHoo Tuesday (13 SEPT. 2022), as she's receiving criticism for her association with the brand.
The reality TV star has signed on to be the "sustainability ambassador" for the clothing brand, which is associated with fast fashion.
Sustainability and fast fashion may be an oxymoron but BooHoo's co-founder and Executive Director, Carol Kane, argues that its customer is environmentally conscious and yet wants its fashion to be affordable.
"This can't be about just making sustainable clothes at the luxury end of the market. We have to find a way to make it accessible to the masses."
To do that, Kane says they're open to finding ways to be more sustainable.
Kardashian posed for photos and sat front row at the event alongside her husband Travis Barker. She did not speak to reporters.
On Tuesday she did acknowledge the backlash on social media, saying "I certainly don't have all the answers" but that she and the brand are committed to finding ways to help the planet and that all the attention is a good thing to get people thinking.
