The runners up of the recently concluded SAFF U20 mens championship 2024, Nepal are playing their second match against home team chinese taipei in the AFC U20 Asian Cup Qualifiers 2025.

A total of 45 nations are participating in the U20 Asian Cup qualifiers, and the participating nations have been divided into 10 groups of four and five.

A total of 16 teams will qualify for the 2025 AFC Twenty20 Asian Cup, consisting of the 10 group winners and the best five runners-up from the single round robin and centralized venue qualifiers. On the other hand, as the host, China has been directly qualified for the 2025 U20 Asian Cup.
