July 8, 2020: This webinar walks providers through the groundwork of Hereditary Cancer genetic testing. Tehilla Brander, Cancer Genetic Counselor at Mount Sinai, reviews the genetics of hereditary cancer, the different considerations in choosing a genetic test, and interpreting results. This webinar’s goal is to provide an introduction to hereditary cancer and, along the way, discuss recent updates and innovations.

Tehilla Brander is a Cancer Genetic Counselor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai’s Department of Genetic and Genomics Sciences. She received a BA from Stern College for Women, where she majored in Biology and minored in Philosophy. She received her Master of Science in Genetic Counseling from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Prior to her current position at Mount Sinai, Tehilla worked in prenatal and reproductive genetics.
