Ezra Sosa is finally part of the squad! Today we’re joined by dancer, performer, and our officially adopted child.

Ezra just moved into his own place and is finally living the freedom he’s waited 24 years for. Born and raised in Utah, he opens up about growing up in a deeply conservative environment, the inner homophobia he had to unpack, and the fear and confusion he felt around his identity as a young queer kid. His mom always said he was “the strangest little child”—but in the best way.

He’s been hustling since his teens: dancing in a movie with his siblings, competing on America’s Got Talent, World of Dance, So You Think You Can Dance, and eventually joining Dancing with the Stars. He explains what it means to be a “pro in training,” how the show really works behind the scenes, and yes—the time he was paired with a convicted felon.

We talk about the grind of doing 88 shows in 110 days, life on a luxury tour bus (heated floors!), and the exhaustion of tour life. Now in his off-season, Ezra is embracing stillness, reconnecting with friends, and considering finally teaching us how to dance.

We also dive into what it means to plan for a family as gay men, navigating hate comments, why soccer is kind of primitive, and how dancing gives him a serotonin boost like nothing else.
