BC Egg Farmers

The BC Egg Marketing Board, based in Abbotsford, BC wanted to create a video program designed to educate consumers about the various methods of flock management and how eggs are produced in BC. In recent years there has been significant focus put on caged vs. free-run flock management so they wanted to demonstrate the benefits of all the styles of flock management. We chose four different producers to feature and told the story through their own experience as egg farmers. This video approached a controversial topic in a sensitive and non-bias manner while providing clear and accurate information to consumers. It has been used in schools, on the BCEMB website, and as a informational and learning tool to various consumer groups and various levels of government.
