Subaru Legacy Outback - OVERHEAD CONSOLE REMOVAL / REPLACEMENT (2003 - 2009)

Passenger airbag sensor in the overhead console is a common failure on this vehicles. Other possible reason to remove it would be power sunroof issues!

To completely remove the overhead console on your Subaru Outback, first you want to pop out the plastic piece which is covering the ceiling reading lights. Then remove two phillips screws. After that push the console forward and pull down as shown on the video. Disconnect all the wiring and remove the over head console.
