SKAIRLANE! GEAR GRABBIN' GASSER! FE 427 SOHC INJECTED '55 FORD FAIRLANE! BYRON DRAGWAY!

The gasser car scene has seen an increase in popularity in recent years and Jeff Jacobson's '55 Ford Fairlane is one example why. Jeff built and painted the car along with his "Border Bandits" crew in his Beloit, Wisconsin Brothers Auto Body Shop and Jacobson Speed Shop. All the lettering is the handiwork of Jason Vanderwoude at NSD paintwerks. The "Skairlane" is powered by an Hillborn mechanically injected FE 427 SOHC built by Mike and Matt Faucher with pistons by Ric Panneton who also helped out with the car build. This setup, along with the custom fender well headers by Jacobson Speed Shop and a G Force 101A 4 speed make for the loud gear grabbing wheels up insane passes the crowds come to see! The beautiful interior sports custom seats and headrests stitched up by Mikey Brown of Mikey's Upholstery. Props go out to Quain Stott and the South East Gassers for help along the way also.
