Hurricane Beryl brings rain, strong winds to Atlantic basin

Hurricane Beryl regained its Category 4 status as it made landfall on Carriacou Island on Monday.

The storm brought flash flooding, dangerous surf and powerful winds to portions of the Windward Islands. Grenada recorded wind gusts over 100 mph as the storm moved through.

Parts of The Dominican Republican, Haiti, and Jamaica could see impacts from Beryl by midweek.
