The Institution and Faculty of Actuaries (IFOA) have changed all the actuarial exams in the UK to be online. With the change in format from physical exams to online exam, there are some new challenges on doing these exams which are previously not faced by other students.

For example, the lack of book work questions from the actuarial mathematics and statistics syllabus as well as the fact that we need to type in notations on Microsoft word which is adding another layer of difficulty to these exams. In this video I will talk about 2 of the biggest challenge faced by actuarial students in the new exam format as well as 3 actionable advice I give to actuarial students in order to better prepare for your up and coming exams.
