Guided by Paani Foundation’s chief advisor, Dr. Avinash Pol, we visit the work and see the effects of a watershed-scale groundwater restoration project that has dramatically improved the lives, economy, ecology and stability of this village, all in 45 days!

What happens when access to water is a struggle?
It effects the health of people, economy of a nation, it increases gender divide and keep many children away from school.

If it has to be said in a heart wrenching manner. According to waterman of India - Rajender Singh “ The Third World War is at our gate, and it will be about water, if we don’t do something about this crisis.”

Though India Improved its ranking in providing access to water, still it is performing poorly in providing safe and pure drinking water close to home.(India-88%where as Bangladesh - 97%)

So apart from governments and NGO’s, there is a greater responsibility on people as well to not waste water unnecessarily and use water judiciously to make water available for our future generations.
