THE GEORGE S. MICKELSON TRAIL IS EVEN MORE AMAZING AND MAJESTIC THAN YOU CAN POSSIBLY IMAGINE. Check out our trail review of 60 miles of it from Dumont to Pringle South Dakota. Around every curve is new scenery, rocky canyons, babbling brooks, horse trails, railroad tunnels, small towns, roadside art, evergreen forests, prairie-scapes, over 100 bridges and trestles, old mining towns and Wild West heritage!

For Sue & I, the BEST thing we did while in the Hill City/Black Hills area this August 2021 was going on the George S. Mickelson bike trail 6 times over 21 days. It was that good,.....and remember,...........this is our second visit to this trail. We discovered it in 2017!
