I had the opportunity to eat with my Emirati friend Kiani (  / feed.kiani  ) in Old Dubai. He’s from Dubai, and absolutely loves food and he took me to one of the best food spots in Dubai. In this Dubai food tour, we ate Emirati food, rice and lamb, street food, machboos and much more.

Emirati food at restaurants is still very hard to find in Dubai, so this was my first experience trying authentic emirati cuisine. It was an all encompassing experience, the traditional emirati music set the scene, there were local women hand preparing luqaimat and the restaurant has been there for ober 70 years.
