How do you actually buy a Stock? In this video, I’ll provide a step by step walkthrough of how to buy Stocks and ETFs using an online broker. I’ll be doing my walkthrough with Questrade, my favourite online broker but the same steps apply for any broker. I’ll also provide guidance on commission fees and the different types of trades you can perform.

I will be showing you step by step how to open a Questrade account for day trading and stock market investing in Canada. This includes Margin, TFSA, and RRSP accounts.

Questrade Canada fees are $4.95 - $9.95 per trade for stocks depending on your share size, and FREE for buying ETF's. Therefore it's a broker suitable for all Canadians. To open an account the funding minimum is $1000.
