2020 CRF250L
29 May 2021 - 216 miles covered on day two

The Minnesota Trans-Wisconsin Adventure Trail (MN’T.W.A.T.) is an 900 mile adventure route of my own creation. Join me on my first camping trip for 2021; also my first motocamping trip ever. This will be a four day adventure ride that will for through, Souther Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, and the Arrowhead Region of Northern Minnesota.

Day two, the most critical day for navigation, starts near Danbury, WI. I head north on WI 35 to Duluth which will then get me to a lunch stop called Island Lake Inn in Island Lake, MN. From here on out, navigation becomes critically important. I am navigating old school style with a compass and a map. Due to running behind schedule, things didn’t go totally to plan so I had to find camp before getting to Brule Lake. My campsite was far from ideal but with light fading, it was the best I could do.
