Am I too old and fat for a sports bike?

Well this is the first rideout on the newly jizzed up Fireblade with its uncompromising riding position. Much moaning and groaning ensues and I debate if I'm to old and fat for this... Something has to be done which raises the question:

Are you ever too old to ride sportbikes?

Should I just sell it and get myself a nice sensible Ducati Hypermotard SP :-D

On a serious note, anyone know a company who can make 30mm clip-on risers for the blade?
