Fender Squier Vintage Modified 6-String Bass VI - SQ VM Modified Bass VI OW Fender - V03 DISTORT

Hi Folks - since I did not find any valuable review on the 'Fender Squier Vintage Modified Bass VI - converted into a Baritone Guitar' on Youtube, I decided to post something by myself.

Please apologize for both the poor playing and the sound, since I did this demo pretty quick and even more dirty, just improvising a bit...

This 6-string bass axe has been simply converted into a really amazing sounding baritone guitar by just replacing the original Fender bass strings with baritone guitar strings.

Gauges used: Nickel-plated steel .015 / .018 / .026 / .044 / .056 / .070
I just replaced the original strings - NO ADJUSTMENTS MADE to the guitar.
The guitar still has original factory setup.

Especially the clean tones are really fantastic. Unfortunatly you will hear on the video as well the acoustic sound of this great guitar mixed w/ the Amp output at very low volume.

Ab - standard tuning used on this guitar.

Please note: since you will not find any standard baritone strings to fit on this axe (especially the two high strings are too short) , I had to order some custom-made guitar strings at pyramid-strings.de ( and I have to say: very short delivery time and extremly reasonable pricing! Great team! Just ask for their assistance).
