Apollo 10 (Full Mission 04)

Apollo 10 - Full Mission Part 4. This video covers the LM extraction from the

S1VB and the first TV transmission of the earth in colour for the Apollo 10

mission (May 18th - 26th 1969). Onboard are astronauts Tom Stafford (CDR)

John Young (CMP) and Gene Cernan (LMP).
Apollo 10 was a full dress rehearsal for the Apollo 11 mission.
This video is the fourth of a series to cover the entire air-ground

communications and video shown during the flight.

This video starts a few minutes before the end of the 3rd video. On checking I

realised I had left out some video coverage of the LM extraction that was sent

by the crew after the docking. I have gone back and added this in to the start

of this sequence. The video then progresses through a SPS evasive burn away

from the S1VB and onto the first colour TV of the earth.

Space Simulator is used for all the video sequencing on this video. Inclinations

and position to the actual flight are guesstimated. GET is used as accurately as

possible but should only be used as a guide. Thruster firings and burns are

shown for effect. I do not claim to know how to fly the CSM!

Audio is in "stereo". Sometimes PAO can only be heard on one channel.
