I Have Stopped Fishing With Lead Clips - Here's WHY

I've never been a fan of lead clips but I would still use them occasionally, especially on the river because of the higher risk of the lead getting trapped. I have decided to stop using them completely because they are costing me fish. I now fish with running rigs 100% of the time wherever I’m fishing.

In this video, I explain how I made this decision and I show my latest running breakaway lead setup which allows me to break the lead off if it gets trapped.
