Twitching Jigs for Chum Salmon

Описание к видео Twitching Jigs for Chum Salmon

What use to be One of the Greatest Rivers to fish back in the days, has now become the center point for "Human Activity and Development". Heavy Industrialization of the area has caused negative impacts on WildLife and Ecosystems, however, life still exists. Unfortunately, as listed on the Washington Fish and Wildlife Website, many aquatic species that live in these waterways are listed under the "DO NOT EAT" category and any Human Consumption should be carefully monitored due to high levels of toxins found in them(there is a list on the WA state fishing website with information regarding this). Salmon do not spend their whole lives in the freshwater and eventually head out to the Salty Ocean, where they will feed and grow, before returning to the very Same waters they Were Born in to repeat life cycle all over again.

Follow me as I Fish the infamous "Green River/Duwamish River" for some CHUM Salmon for my first time ever! Pound for Pound one of the Strongest of Five Species of Salmon/Steelhead that enter the Duwamish/Green River every year to spawn (with the exception of the "Pink Salmon" which returns every Odd Year)as well as other Tributaries throughout the Pacific NorthWest.

Catch and Bake/Grill Chum!
