Party Cruise, which they named in place of Party Mode, is where you can select any character on any board to compete for the number one goal, which is collecting the most Stars. There, you can choose between Battle Royale, 2-Team Match or the new and unique 4-Team Battle, which is a total of 8 characters in one board. Set up your rules against your CPU-controlled rivals and set their skill levels. Since my skill level is high, I always have their level maxed out. Enjoy this extremely fierce match!

Salutations! Welcome to Mario Party 7 on the Nintendo GameCube. While it is the last Mario Party game for the GameCube, it holds yet again some new and interesting features. The first one is a special mode called Deluxe Cruise, where up to 8 players can participate in a party board instead of the usual 4 players. Duty-Free Shop is where you can swap Cruise Mileage Points for various unlockables and souvenirs, such as unlocking the new characters Birdo and Dry Bones. Mini Bowser (Koopa Kid) is no longer playable. Instead, he becomes an Orb as well as a Mini Bowser Space. The game's staff credits can be unlocked there too at this shop. Just like in Mario Party 6, you can use the GameCube Microphone to play some Mic Minigames and they have become more involved in board matches. You can toggle between using the Mic or the Controller if you don't have a Mic. Enjoy!
