YEAAAAAAAAH BABY! ITS FINALLY DONE!

This fight is absolutely unbelievable. He has the same HP as Crystal King (675), his healing stacks with curses but maxes out at 99 so he actually has 972HP overall and he attacks twice every turn outside of Star Rod usages in the first 2 thirds, not to mention how giga high his POW is. You need insane optimisation with your badges just to even survive a single attack.

Special thanks to Estrella De La Paz for the theory crafting with bowser. They got further than I did without resorting to mega bounce spam.

What's even crazier is that it feels doable without Mega Bounce spam but even then, anytime we thought we had something, it just didn't turn out to be. I first tried Zap Tap to help with the claw attack but it only affects him on the first phase but he's completely immune to it on the 2nd.

I tried the same coin strat I've used before but he's just too bulky for that to work before I run out of money, even with super trio to help bring it back.

I tried stellar smooching but on the first 10 turns alone, you need to superguard the fire thrice and even then, you probably get stopped at the final third which is when he uses the star rod and attacks on the same turn.

The literal ONLY saving grace you have is that there was an error to Bowser's HP. If he has 513HP or more going into phase 2, he will lose 255HP at the start of phase 2 so phase 1 is all about getting him as close to 513HP as possible rather than getting all the bounces.

Now you only have to go through 719HP. What fun.

Even with mega bounce spam, you STILL need to play optimally. Not only do you essentially need to hit the cap multiple times to negate his healing, you don't actually get many chances to due to his attacks and star rod usages. You only get 1 go at it every loop, not to mention the FP increases when using invis items or outta sight for Bow. You don't really get a chance to use any status clearing stuff except for the Miracle Golden. I got close multiple times only to lose at the end to nerves. I could feel my heart beating and body shaking.

Or maybe that's just underlying health problems. Who knows?

I'm gonna check out some of the post game content. IDK if I can even reach underground, yet alone the dark temple but some of the superbosses should be doable, right? Let's find out.

I think. IDRK I lost count and the losses just kept piling up. Let's just say it's this and move on. I might do another video if we can figure out a way to win without mega bounce abuse.
