Dahi Alu Recipe | Dahi Aloo Recipe : Here I have shown a very delicious dish Dahi Aloo without using onion, garlic and tomato as well . Soft potatoes with smooth , slightly sour gravy goes great with steamed Rice and fried Papad . Must try once this combination :) This dahi aloo / aloo dahi dish can also be prepared for any festivals, puja, vrat etc. So, learn how to make no onion garlic dahi aloo / dahi alu in this video in details by Mrunalinee. Ingredients :
1. Raw Potato ( Aloo / Alu ) - 6 pcs ( or you can use Boiled Potato )
2. Fresh Thick Curd ( Dahi ) - 200gm ( 1½ cup or 12 tbsp ) ** Do not use sour curd **
3. Aromatic Masala ( 1 tbsp Cumin seeds + 2 tbsp Coriander seeds + 2-3 Dry Red Chilli )
4. Crushed Ginger - 1 inch / 1 tbsp
5. Green Chilli - 2
6. Gram flour ( Besan / Besana ) - 1½ tbsp
7. Dry Fenugreek leaves ( Kasuri methi ) - 1 tbsp
8. Coriander powder ( Dhania powder ) - 1 tbsp
9. Kashmiri Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
10. Garam Masala - 1 tbsp
11. Turmeric powder - 1 tbsp
12. Sugar - 1/4 tbsp ( or as required )
13. Salt to taste .
