if a foam mattress slide off its frame or box spring it can be very dangerous for elderly or handicapped individuals. Getting in and out can cause the mattress to move. This is my first attempt to stop it.

as a follow up the adhesive on the velcro just doesn't stick to the nylon straps. I punched a hole in each strap and tire them together with paracord. paracord isn't an ideal choice because it does stretch.
