In this video, we spotlight 2 paradox Pokemon that on paper aren't quite as viable as your Roaring Moons and FlutterManes in Iron Moth & Iron Jugulis. Iron Moth is the alternate version of Volcarona but is known to not quite be as good since it lacks some of the tools that make Volcarona strong such as Tailwind, Rage Powder, and Quiver Dance. The poison typing looks great into potential fairy types but without sludge bomb, this idea is initially squashed. However, it does get access to 2 more poison moves in Sludge Wave & Acid Spray. Sludge Wave may not be great on paper but next to a steel type and a Wide Guard user, it makes it a little more viable. The Acid Spray tech is also interesting since it can allow a partner special attacker to deal more damage. Iron Jugulis on the other hand, compared to Hydreigon, while faster, doesn't get access to Draco Meteor but does get access to Hurricane which make it viable on rain cores. However, outside of that, the Hydreigon is usually always better.
