Lippert rapid electric stabilizer foot jack repair

Hello Campers!
So we have all been there and made mistakes that bent the jacks right?! No, then I guess it’s only me. When I first got my fifth wheel the tires went off the payment in a campground and smacked the jack motor bending it. That was an expensive mistake. Luckily, if you are looking for a video to see how hard it is to replace then I have you covered.

On our trip to Fort Pickens in Pensacola, FL I-59 was so rough that my trailer harness came loose out of the socket for my 7 blade connector. I pulled over and instead of just pulling on the shoulder I was trying to find somewhere more responsible to stop. I saw a fire house and the gps showed a circular road so I thought it would be a great place. I stopped in front of this random fire hall and fixed the trailer plug. I thought at that moment, maybe I should just back up and turn around. I decided I would go forward. Which was fine until the very end of the road. The hill was so steep that the back of the trailer drug during the turn. This tore off the sewer hose hanger that I never use, but also bent my jack foot. I wasn’t sure how easy it was going to be to find a replacement. I actually found a great replacement on Amazon. I did dread changing it. I thought there had to be problems. I figured at the very least the bolt that held the foot in the jack would be binded up and hard to get out. Well this was the first time in history that an easy 10 minute project was really an easy 5 minute project.
