Another Knight-Errant character to add to my Grey Knights Secret Founding project at    • Grey Knights Founding - Knights-Errant and...   - Macer Varren, former Captain of the 12th Company of the XIIth Legion, the World Eaters, recruited by Nathaniel Garro and one of the best Knights-Errant who didn't become one of the founding Grey Knight Grand Masters, who has some glorious moments in James Swallow's The Buried Dagger, Horus Heresy book 54.

He has magnatised arms so he can have wargear from the Vengeful Spirit pathfinder mission (the chainaxe and bolter) or can use his legion keepsake power sword with a bionic arm to replace the arm he loses on the Vengeful Spirit.

MINIATURE:
Kitbashed and scratchbuilt, you can see the unpainted build in sub assembly at 03:11 - The main body is from the Age of Darkness MKVI beakies, the beard and hair were sculpted onto a Space Wolf head, the flamer is from Adeptus Sororitas, the chain axe is converted from a chaos World Eater arm, the burning corpses and severed limbs are from chaos cultists, the snow is AK interactive snow sprinkles, the blood is citadel blood for the blood god.
