Описание к видео Karate Science: 15 Minutes of Thought #32, Yoko Geri Keage

Okazaki Teruyuki Shihan used to say that to show progress in karate you need to train only 15 minutes per day. These series of videos are to give you ideas of things to work on if you can't get onto the dojo floor.

These videos are raw and uncut, and provide 15 minutes of thought as I think and explain the drill. I hope that this gets you thinking. These videos are raw and uncut, and provide 15 minutes of thought as I think and explain the drill. I hope that this gets you thinking. This class looks at Yoko Geri Keage, the Side Snap Kick, and discusses some interesting and unique points about the technique.

The way that they are organized is through a concept that is introduced through a simple drill. First the drill is demonstrated and then I layer in concepts that I would like you to think about and practice. They are designed for the video to be paused so that you can think, and practice that particular concept that if followed slowly will build to an entire story that will hopefully build your karate. As with any karate related video, these are my ideas and options, please treat them as that. If you think a little deeper and agree that is great, if you don't agree, that also is great. Just think, question, listen to your body, and train hard.
