This series of videos is suitable for programmers with minimal (or no) programming experience who want to learn Java. This is the forty-second video in the Introductory Java series, and the third video in lesson 7 (Array and ArrayList). In this video we'll learn how to pass arrays as parameters to methods, return arrays from methods, and we'll learn how to copy arrays (two methods). We'll also learn about side effects and when you don't need to return an array from a method.

There is a suggested (free) book below that you could read along with the videos lessons. However, the video is very straightforward and can also stand alone or accompany any other introductory Java textbook. Let's have some fun learning to program in Java!
