In preparation for Give to Lincoln Day in May, 2023, The Lincoln Indian Center Inc. conducted interviews with volunteering relatives in the Lincoln, Nebraska, community. Not only did these brief interviews help with getting the Indigenous voices out to the entire Lincoln community, but they also provide personal insights to the history and importance of The Lincoln Indian Center.

Meet Jaicein Mayfield! She has been coming to The Lincoln Indian Center since her youth and has the unique experiences of youth group, Lincoln Indian Community Church, Dance Troupes, and other programs that were available in previous years. We invite you to listen to their personal stories and experiences with the center, and to remember the numerous local Native individuals and families who have and continue to rely on the resources of The Lincoln Indian Center Inc. in Lincoln, Nebraska
