Holy Grail

The Holy Grail a Caddis emerger pattern that was suggested/recommended to me. As I understand it, this is more of a series of flies than a single pattern.

It's a reasonably simple tying, but you do need to be careful about positioning the bead and making sure you leave enough room to tie off the thorax cover and position the hackle.

Pattern:
Hook: Fulling Mill FM5060 Czech Nymph Size 14
Bead: Gold brass bead 3/32" (2.4mm)
Thread: Semperfli Classic Waxed 12/0 Red
Rib: Semperfli 0.2mm Wire Bright Gold
Body: Fulling Mill Eco Warrior Dub Hare's Ear
Thorax Cover: Natual Cock Pheasant Tail
Thorax: Fulling Mill Eco Warrior Dub Pepper Box
Hackle: Partridge
