On a typical Class 5 or Class 6 truck, the height of the pipe rack in the upright position is approximately 87". When the operator stabilizes the truck by lowering the jacks, Pulstar's hydraulic racks can be lowered independently to 48" on both the street-side and curb-side racks, which are both a comfortable and safe working height. As well, the hydraulic racks were designed to be 18 inches from the side of the truck when lowered to 48", giving the operator safe, user-friendly full access to the service body compartments.
