The charter started out rough, but we eventually reached clearer waters, where we snorkeled in a secluded paradise. Now, we are making our way back to Phuket.

We crossed a whale-feeding ground along the way and captured these incredible animals feeding on a giant bait ball. After watching them feed for about an hour, we needed to get on our way.

We decided to make the long journey today, hoping to swim with whale sharks and manta rays tomorrow before returning to the marina.

However, on the last day, when I was going to pack, I accidentally kicked the door jamb and broke my toe! A broken toe on a boat is painful because the boat constantly moves, and you use your toes for balance.

We decided to go to the marina early since I couldn't swim and saw no manta rays or whale sharks.

We got one last spectacular show before we made it to the marina. A pod of dolphins came to swim on our bow, just the goodbye we needed.

Now, it is time to decide: What will we do for the last two weeks of vacation? We have four days at the hotel in Phuket, but with my broken toe, I can barely walk, let alone swim, so snorkeling and scuba diving are out. So stay tuned for the next episode, where we make some major changes.
