IMPRESSIONISM | RECREATING MONET'S LILIES IN SOFT PASTELS

In this video tutorial I'm recreating Claude Monet's Lily Pond in soft pastels. By simple mark-making and use of expressive lines, this impressionistic painting comes to life. Although I mostly work in a much more realistic style, I thoroughly enjoy breaking away from the focus intense detail work sometimes, to work in a more spontaneous and loose art style.
